Yep, I’m one of those people, I don’t have a case on my phone! I throw it down in the gym, it drops onto the pavement as I jump out of my car and my cat sleeps on it.. So, as you could imagine, I was over the moon when the jimmyCASE popped through my letter box – and the best thing of all (which you can probably tell im excited about!) it’s a wood iPhone case! That’s right, the team over at jimmyCASE use genuine aircraft grade wood.. Now that’s stylish.
Not bad looking, is it!
One of the most important features, other than the wood feature being awesome, is the elastic band which is essentially there to keep your cards, cash, ID and whatever else safe, it’s basically an iPhone 6s Wallet case but it actually works. The case is so sturdily built, and the band is so tight, there is no chance of anything falling out and you only need to remember the one thing when you’re out an about, your phone/wallet.

Now, let’s get down to the nitty gritty of the design, it isnt the most complicated, which is a thumbs up in our opinion. The shell is a silicone bumper with the aircraft grade wood attached to the back, the elastic band goes over the wood as you can see in the picture.. I should mention you can get the band in all sorts of different colours and patterns, but you know me, simple and stylish is the way forward. It’s a great design, you can push or pull you cards, cash and whatever else out from under the band easily, it’s a great iPhone card holder to be fair.
Will it protect your phone?
.. yes. Although stylish, the case is solid, but it doesn’t come with a screen protector, so if you’re that worried about getting a blemish on your phone then you’ll need to purchase on separately.
Overall, we’re big fans of the guys over at jimmyCASE and they’ve come up with a sleek, stylish and sturdy iPhone case which im sure will be very popular – one of the more successful KickStarter stories if you ask me.
