Out of the Blue a couple of weeks ago we received an email from the excellent footwear site Sarenza asking if we would like to review some H by Hudson Boots, and let’s be honest, you can’t really say no to an offer like that can you!
And so, a week later, these superb H by Hudson Dunga Boots duly arrived for us to review.
The first thing to hit us, as soon as we opened the box, was that gorgeous, unmistakeable smell of real Leather. Once the Boots were removed the from the box it was easy to see why as they are made from the most wonderful top quality Leather, beautifully soft to the touch and subtle to the extreme! The attention to detail is exquisite with not a stitch out of place and the finishing off all around the piece is of the very highest order.
Once on the feet, I kid you not, I have NEVER WORN A MORE COMFORTABLE PAIR OF BOOTS! Fastening the side zip encapsulates your foot within the boot and due to soft nature of the Leather and slight padding to the sole they are a joy to wear. Most Boots tend to take some wearing in, generally due to stiffness in the Leather, but there are definately no such issues here. The only downside, if there is one at all, is that the sole is so wonderfully smooth it literally glides across the carpet so just a little word of warning there!
Having not owned any H by Hudson footwear up until now It is safe to say I was very, very impressed and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending anybody to invest their hard earned in a pair of these superb boots. Available in three great colours, in sizes 6.5 through to 11, the hardest thing to believe about these boots is that they retail for just £100!
