Firetrap have kindly sent us through a Ruffed Up Bear T Shirt to review, as well as dropping us some info on their superb new SS12 collections, so here goes!
The Ruffed Up Bear T Shirt is excellent quality, well finished off around all the seams and looks excellent when teamed with a pair of Firetrap Jeans.
Made from 100% Cotton the Tee features stitching detail throughout, frayed detailing to the cuffs and hem, discreet Firetrap branding to the left chest and stitching detail to the collar.
All in all an excellent T Shirt and definately worth an addition to any mans wardrobe.
DAPPER DUDE RATING 8/10
So, what do Firetrap have in store for us in 2012??? Read on for more!
For SS12, Firetrap finds inspiration where the sun never sets – at the height of the British Empire. The collection is inspired by the colonies from which grew the diverse culture which is at the heart of Firetrap’s DNA… London.
Classic summer garments are boldly reinterpreted in Firetrap’s signature style, offering a new take on safari jackets, crew neck jumpers and Bermuda shorts. Combat trousers are given character with an extreme carrot fit, while a field jacket spun in camouflage print reinforces the brand’s tradition of military styling.
Firetrap’s denim expertise is carried through from jeans into other areas of the collection. Unique indigo dying processes are used across wardrobe staples from shirts to jersey, washed-through to give an aged, vintage effect.
Firetrap’s non-conformist graphics playfully reflect the season’s inspirations. At the core of the collection, imperial images mixed with hand-drawn elements daringly adorn t-shirts.
A full range of accessories complements the collection, with key pieces including metal-tipped embossed belts and lightweight scarves. Waxed and natural canvas kit bags and backpacks complete the robust military look.
