Firetrap Rainbow2 Polo Shirt Review

Firetrap kindly sent over this Rainbow2 Slim Fit Polo for Dapper Dude to review, so it would be rude of us not to get stuck in and give you all the nitty gritty on this natty looking polo.

The first observation is that these slim fit polos aren’t for me, the beer belly that the ladies love so much just isn’t the look in these tight fitting tops, a cunning ploy by Firetrap to hasten my joining of a gym!

My physical attributes aside this polo looks to offer excellent value for money at just £30.00, and to be fair really looks the part teamed with a pair of carrot fit jeans.

It feaures what I would call a Grandad collar (Firetrap refer to it as a Priest collar) with a rainbow stripe design matching the cuffs on the sleeves, and six button fastening to the placket. To the left chest there is a printed Firetrap branding with the words ‘Born in Britain..Deadly and Twisted’ and also a small Firetrap badge to the left sleeve. The bottom of the shirt is split to either side and is slightly longer at the back as tends to be the style nowadays, the slits to either side are also taped for strength which is good. There was the odd loose end of cotton around the seams, but in general the finishing around the piece was good and the overall quality seems really good.

All in all I would say this is a decent bit of kit for the money, but I would also say that there is an age limit of maybe mid 20s for this style of polo.

Overall Dapper Dude rating : 7/10
