Aside from getting on my thre’penny bits on Eurotrash every week I often wondered what Jean Paul Gaultier did, turns out he made very expensive designer gear and churned out the odd bottle of Eau de Toilette now and again.

However it looks as though he has re-assessed things of late and in line with most other high end designers is now turning out some more affordable, and he’s pretty good at it too as it goes!

Rifling through the wardrobe today I thought to myself I need a decent White Polo Shirt with a little bit of something about it, so after a quick trawl of t’interweb I settled on this Moncler Trim Collar Polo from Triads.

REVIEW Carhartt States T Shirt

Time for another review here at Dapper Dude, this time this neat Carhartt States T Shirt which was kindly sent over to us by our good friends at Ark Clothing.

Just like all things Stateside this Tee is a little on the large side for us UK folk, a Medium being a very generous 40-42″ chest, so we would probably recommend sizing one when purchasing Carhartt products.

Carhartts roots are firmly based in work wear, engineered to withstand the toughest of jobs on site, and the first thing we noticed about this Tee (other than the size!) was the weight. Manufactured from 100% Cotton the material is very thick and looks well capable of withstanding the rigours of day to day wear and is very well finished off around the edges, neat seams and no stray thread.

This is billed as a must have Tee from the new season Carhartt range and it’s easy to see why as it looks great with a pair of Denims, but would also look just a good with a pair of Cargo Shorts come Summer time. Featuring a large USA flag style print to the chest with an interloping Carhartt logo, a Carhartt badge to the hem and ribbed neckline this Tee looks excellent value for money at just £29.99.

Remember one thing though …. don’t forget to size down!!

So following on from our Bradford City themed Capital One Cup Final post yesterday as promised today we feature something more suited to the Jacks for the big day. The Swans are making their first visit to a major cup final and as they play in Black and White we have plumped for this neat looking Armani Jeans logo polo shirt.

Sporting a regular fit with a fine ribbed collar and 3 button placket to neck the Black and White stripes throughout are ideal for the Swansea boys and there is a discreet small Black rubberised Armani logo to left breast.
